Account deletion
Delete your account directly in GigaChords.
The signed-in account owner can permanently delete the account and account-linked cloud data from the app without contacting support.
Delete your account in the app
- Open GigaChords and open Settings.
- Expand Plan & Account, then expand Account.
- Tap Delete account & data.
- Read the confirmation and tap Delete account. Apple-linked accounts will be asked to continue with Apple once more.
What is deleted
The completed action deletes the GigaChords account, active sessions, connected sign-in identities, registered device records, account-linked store-purchase verification records and GigaChords-managed entitlements, launch-notification signup data for the account email, and account-linked feedback records and payloads.
Local data and subscriptions are separate
Local songs and chord maps remain on the device. Remove them in the app, or clear/uninstall the app to remove its local data. Deleting a GigaChords account does not cancel a store subscription; manage an Android purchase in Google Play subscriptions, an iPhone or iPad purchase in Apple subscriptions, or a Windows purchase in Microsoft Services & subscriptions.
